Enjoy this 30 minute yoga class for beginners who want full body flexibility and strength.

Hi friends, this week I'm offering you a 30 minute practice perfect for beginners! Now just because a class is for beginners, doesn't mean it isn't challenging! We are going to work on building foundational strength, balance and flexibility.

We'll begin with a very short meditation to be grounded and then warming up the spine with some fluid motions. We'll then move to hands and knees and start to engage the abdominals which is key when it comes to improving balance.

Our flows will take you through a Warrior sequence where we focus on alignment and breath to do the poses safely and effectively. I'm not using any props for this practice but you may want to have a block somewhere close by.

Thank you so much!!! Im going through some major transformations. i was a homeless heroin addict for 10 years now im clean and getting ready to open a business. I have always wanted to get into yoga and fitness. Been vegan for 3 years. Yes I was a dumpster diving vegan living out of the whole foods compost bin. Better days now. This was my first yoga session. It was awesome thanks.

I am not a commenter but I had to comment on this video. This was the best beginner yoga video I have seen. I was able to not continually watch the screen and still be able to know the moves you were doing. It was extremely descriptive and engaging. Wonderful Job!

Never, ever, ever, have I enjoyed any type of yoga, ever. After years and years of avoiding it, I randomly searched for beginner yoga on YouTube, and now I'm doing your videos a few times a week. The time flies by, I'm able to stay focused, and I also get a great stretch which is great since the other days I don't do yoga, I tend to do cardio/weights and really need a good stretch. The description of the moves is so perfect, I don't need to look at the screen constantly and can instead focus on form and breathing.

Never have 30 minutes gone by so fast, it was the perfect workout for my morning and she is so intuitive and instructive I didnt have a difficult time following and knowing what to do like I have with other videos. Thank you!

Hello Kassandra,

In my 20’s and later in my 40’s, I briefly practiced yoga. Now I’m 65-years old and I was furloughed (in quarantine) due to the pandemic. I took advantage of my time at home to practice yoga again. After trying different yoga instructors on YouTube, I ended following you. I have arthritis and varicose veins and it is hard to exercise. However I have been exercising to your 30-minute Beginner Yoga class for almost two months and it has been great for my strength. I want to thank you for helping me out to go back to this awesome discipline.

I have been attending yoga classes for 2 months at a yoga studio. These beginner videos are perfect for practice at home to practice poses and get stronger. Just what I was searching for and feeling so grateful ❤. I am 68 years old and want to avoid injury but increase strength

A few poses were a bit difficult since I don't have a lot of core strength built up yet but I do love the mentions of like pushing shoulder blades together or pulling the shoulder back because I realize I wasn't doing those things and forces me to focus more on what each muscle is doing. Very informative. Great for this time of quarantine :)

What I love about Kassandra is she does a great mix of working hard and allowing for breaks. You don’t dread the workouts and have to force yourself to do them. You look forward to doing them because you genuinely feel better during and after. Thank you K!!

I am 16 but understand the importance of exercising daily for strength on the long run + my body has not been feeling the best recently so I am here to find balance within myself. God, this video was a workout! Much needed

I have been following/doing your yoga videos since the start of the pandemic. I definitely wouldn’t call myself a beginner, but I also wouldn’t call myself intermediate either! As a yogi who fell out of practice years ago, this sequence was wonderful! It's really refreshing to find a channel that isn't 100% power/flow/etc. (i.e. intense cardio) for advanced yogis. I'm really digging the variety on your channel, esp. yin yoga <3
