Hello friends I hope you enjoy this practice and find it accessible if you are a complete beginner . Lots of you were missing the sound sound of the birds so I hope you enjoy listening to them x

What most impresses me is the care that you take insuring proper form. With some instructors, it's all about getting to the next pose, but you really take the time to sit with each pose, and I appreciate that. This was the best child's pose and downward facing dog that I've ever experienced.

Charlie, at 67 I have always done some sort of workout. The past 4 years I had a lot of pain, to the point I could no longer do much. After doc appts, chiro appts, massage appts, you name it, nothing helped. FINALLY, my insisting that it just wasn’t old age I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis. Long story short, had surgery 2 mths ago and I thank God my pain is gone!!! I’ve been walking but I feel tight and stiff. Came across your videos, along with millions of others but your sweet gentle spirit told me I should try this. Gosh, I just did it now for the 1st time and boy, I’m sooo tight!!! But I will keep at it! My body tells me it needs this. I look forward to progressing!! Thank you!

Perfect timing! While I’m not a beginner I was feeling very tight and I was looking for a flow a bit slower for today. This was perfect! Please don’t stop the more advanced classes, but these are great thrown in here and there as beginner/maintenance days. Thanks Charlie!

something this practice helped me realize was that some of the hardest parts of yoga aren't how complex or difficult the pose is, but rather how deep you can go in stillness. i've started doing your intermediate yoga classes so i've been caught up in the "more, more, more" mindset. this class helped me slow down and was actually pretty challenging.

I have been doing yoga off and on for a decade and cant seem to move past beginner level practices. That being said, this is one of the best beginner routines ive ever experienced. Thank You, Charlie!🥰

bradley 58yr old. loved the beginner class this video. did a 20min 4 days ago. did another 20 mins 3 days ago of another . now found yours for 30 mins. so here goes. you asked for comments so. feet pointed out flat is very tough but after a few its better. same when you fold toes and try to sit back on heels. didnt realize i had lost all my flexibility in my feet. explain to your beginners this pain. cobra is tuff even feel like im almost doing a push up having to push hard to even get anything that resembles cobra. but im going to keep working with you. the start sitting Indian style is even hard for the stiff neck like me..example..when i fight to get to indian style i can tell why you use it because my body was telling me i should be able to do it. and the closer i got to it and the longer i did it the better it felt. but my whole routine looked and felt very sloppy. thank you for the lesson. when i got to indian style my hands are no where near my knees. my arms fell towards my knees and touches them just below the elbow. even relaxing in that pose was hard but felt better as i went. sitting there you said go hands together then above head. to start getting my hands straight above my head and then extended was hard but you ask to fingers together and point psalms to sky just would not happen so i never got to the extend to back behind head to stretch abs. i tried my best to mock your shape but my body was forsaken me bad. i had no idea i have gotten this stiff. another fact for you pros. stiff muscled bound knuckled heads like me are not breathing slow in and outs. about mid way through i sounded like i was on a jog. breathing like i was doing reps on the weight bench. Im so ashamed that ive let my body go like this. im 6 ft even 200 lbs. got a little extra pounds on me but didnt think it was that bad. thank you again because i found your temperament appealing and you kept me honest for the whole thing. back to indian style. when you ask to stretch one arm up and over to stretch the sides i found because my balance was so bad that i couldnt steady hold that stretch. i know relaxing and steady breathing is part of the yoga thang but i found myself getting to excited and not steady breathing. its something i know i need to work on. i will tell you the reason i have turn to you. i watched a documentary on "Diamond Dallas Paige" a wrestler. he said his body had gone to the crusher. he said his x wife got him into yoga and he said it healed everything about his broken and battered body. but he also said it is tuff. but i showed up and glad to bring you into my home. thank you again and appreciate you much. question ? should i do this routine once or twice a day or should i do it once every other day. and should i find another beginner routine of yours to do. ?

I’m not a beginner, but I make sure I practice everyday. Sometimes a gentle slow flow is just what the body needs particularly in the morning or evening. I love your cues and I just started your 30 day challenge. Love your videos and the beautiful backgrounds which are so calming.

Wow!!! I approached this like climbing low grades with deliberation. It totally cleaned up my technique. Especially in plank! Content like this is teaching me how to place hands, hold body, etc. Instead of sloppily thrashing into movement, I will do this or other vids like this to build muscle memory. Thank you Charlie. ❤

I start my day with you every morning. I appreciate your soft clear directions. You are more about self care than trying to push the body beyond what is supportive. Your program is a good compliment to my more rigorous activities like biking to work or walking.

i absoultely love the whole flow! i'm not a beginner with yoga by any means but i do absoultely adore restorative practices that are just a bit slower and a more gentle stretch! it was my rest day today & i appreciate this flow so much!!🥰🫶🏻
