In this 30-minute session for beginners, we will work with breath and other foundational elements to set you up for a sustainable and beneficial practice you enjoy! Set to a good pace, we will focus on form and function to increase flexibility, build strength, and regulate the nervous system. Repeat this session with consistency and watch your breath and body transform.

Yoga is for everyone! The hardest part is showing up.

This class is perfect for all beginners or anyone wanting to move more slowly and mindfully.

You will move through breath work, poses for the spine, shoulders, and core, as well as standing poses such as warrior two, and more.

I haven't practiced in a hot minute. I've been needing this medicine, though I was worried about coming back to the mat. I wrote in my journal "it's easier to distract myself than try and practice gratitude and be with my mind and body this way". It's easier before coming on the mat. Funny thing is, when I got to the mat and followed this practice, it was easier to practice the gratitude and being present. Thank you, Adriene. As always, you're wonderful and you have me coming back.

Took yoga classes at an expensive gym for 17 years with an instructor that trained under Baron Baptiste. For the past two years, I have switched to a home practice, and that is how I found Adriene. My practice is now very internal, no mirrors, no comparing myself to others, no yoga instructor complimenting only those that excel. Love going slowly, mindfully, and constantly paying attention to how my body feels in the moment. Love going back to a beginners practice and finding something new in the basics. Would not be without a home practice at this point, that is how important and beneficial it has been to me—it also feels like therapy. Thank you Adriene!

I've followed Adriene's practices for years but I haven't been able to the past couple of years. Had a baby, then got cancer. After my surgeon said it was okay, I'm finally back on the mat, beginner style to let my body catch up slowly. Feels soooo good to be back ! How I love these practices ! 🥰❣️ So grateful today 🥹

This sequence is just perfect! It reminds me that I am always a Beginner despite my 9-year yoga practice. Indeed each day offers a new beginning and a new challenge to step on the mat and check in with my commitment. Hello Adriene, your yoga classes helped me tremendously through the pandemic years, I did a class every day. Since I was diagnosed with osteoporosis couple of months ago, I stopped because I learned that certain moves, twisting, bending, maybe downward dog is not good for me. I’ve missed your classes very much, but I wonder if you would do a modified class for osteoporosis patients?

This was a perfect timing. I've been doing yoga for quite some time. But the last two months I didn't enjoy it as much as I did before. So my practices went to the short yoga sessions. And I wanted to 'restart' & 'reset' again, so this was perfect.

I like the slower pace that allows me to focus on tweaking how I approach various poses. It's good to slow down and focus with more depth.💚🙏🏻

After doing yoga with Adriene for 65 days now, I feel like I have got to know and appreciate my body again, yet this is just the start of a lifelong journey I think. Beginners practice is still so relevant. The daily practice brings me back to myself and it feels like Adriene reminds me that it is ok to have this time for myself. I need it to download and throw out the negative and start afresh each day. Love the new improving me. Namaste to all ❤️

Namaste dear one… Just a reminder I’m a 76 year old for that’s finally told him self to suck it up and get through this 30 minute exercise and I’m on day five…
And I just realized that with my headphones can hear your heart beating throughout the exercise and…
I …am not a dirty old man …well yes I am …but I am trying to be as spiritual as I can
I can tell you that it’s a profound feeling as we go through the exercises to hear your heartbeat and hear that gentle, nurturing caring in your voice as you guide us .
… it almost brings me to tears so…

Keeping your classes short has helped me do yoga daily. Thank you for this gift. An hour class is sometimes too difficult to plan a few times a week. Twenty minutes can always be found. Blessings
