A morning yoga class to stretch out your legs and improve hip flexibility in 10 minutes.

Welcome to day 23 of the Morning Yoga Movement! The focus of today's 10 minute mornig yoga practice is on stretching out your legs and improving flexibility in your hips. If you spend a lot of time sitting down or standing on your feet, this should feel really good. Often after a long night's rest our legs can also be quite stiff and sore. You'll need one strap for this class and a lot of the poses will be done laying down.

Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t go back to sleep...I started to think and repeat your affirmations (the ones I could remember) and I fell back to sleep quickly! I love that you’ve added the affirmations in this challenge, we all need some positive self talk! Namaste

One of my kittens came over and started to lie down on my chest as I was stretching my right leg. Kinda nice since I felt double the relaxation. hahah

I started doing Kassandra's 5 Min Morning Yoga TO FEEL YOUR BEST routine several weeks ago and got totally hooked! It was becoming the very first thing I did when I got out of bed. 5 mins/day was all I could commit to after a very long break from doing exercise, whilst juggling an extremely busy/stressful job and family routine. I knew if I decided to exercise at least 30 mins per day it would quickly turn into many missed days. There’s no excuse for not being able to find 5 mins. To me, focusing on the consistency of practice was the most important thing.

After about a week of doing the 5 min yoga routine, I discovered the 30 Day,
10 min Yoga Challenge and signed up straight away. Today was my twenty-third day and I am loving it so much! I am looking forward to all my morning practices now. And since about the 15th day, I do both the original 5 min routine as well as the 10min one. I’m in love with yoga again and starting to feel like my old self again. So happy!

I love Kassandra's tone of voice, speed of delivery, her positive affirmations, her style. She is just perfect! She is such a professional. It was as though her YouTube videos fell from heaven just when I needed them!  Thank you so much Kassandra!! #GoodMorning to you and thank you for the wonderful work that you do!!!! Just as you started repeating the affirmation for the final time, while we had our right leg in the strap, I felt into a centered vibrating energy running down through my leg and relaxed deeper into it. I realized there had been resistance feeling it as “tightness” or pain, but as I surrendered, it transformed into energetic life force that I felt fully and openly. And then yes, you said “Life supports me in every way”. ❤️ We’re vibrating with loving energy at all times. It just takes a moment to tune in. Thank you!
