A slow moving vinyasa class to connect to your breath and feel at ease in your body.

Hey everyone, this week I'm offering you a 40 minute vinyasa flow practice that moves slowly to help you cultivate mindfulness. This will also help you connect to your intuition and the flow of your breath. I love slow flows because they can be physically challenging while also being calming and grounding. If you've been experiencing stress, I think this yoga class will help.

We'll begin with a grounding meditation before doing some seated poses to warm up our spine. You can then expect some hip openers and there will be an option for a headstand. I'm not using any props in this class but you can certainly have them if needed. This is ideal for intermediate students but beginners can leave out poses to make it suitable to them. Remember to go slow and really feel the connection with your breath.

I usually seek out a fast paced vinyasa flow morning practices as I like the challenge and it makes me feel good after. But today this popped up and the words stress relief and intuition were a huge glaring beacon drawing me in. Last night I made a difficult but necessary decision on a close personal relationship and this was a perfect practice to let me know that following my gut and mind over my heart was the right decision to make and what I needed to do to keep my sanity in tact as well as be the best single momma I can to my 2 little ones. Tears flowed in several places in today's practice but everything just felt right and as it should be. Thank you so much for bringing yoga into my daily routine this past April and continuing to keep me grounded when life throws bumps and curves. Yoga truly is life and brings me so much joy and accomplishment with each morning practice! Much love to you Kassandra 💛

Hi Kassandra, I've never publicly thanked you (although I mentally thank you every time I finish one of your classes), but today's session was so special I feel like I have to outwardly say this. As I lay down into Shavasana final resting pose I felt a wave of energy take over my body and tears began streaming down uncontrollably. It was such a beautiful and unexpected release! Just goes to show how much tension we build up inside without even noticing it. THANK YOU!

A few days ago, I moved to a small town in Spain to start a new chapter, on my own. I was feeling extremely anxious due to the pandemic and having to leave my family and boyfriend at home. Today, this yoga practice has brought me clarity and calm. Thank you Kassandra for helping me on my journey to becoming at peace with who I am and bringing me comfort in times of need.

Best yoga class of my life! I really love the slow aspect of it (I even wanted a few poses to last longer!) Please please please, more slow flows! Great class! It was what i needed this morning, i was feeling a little anxious, tired and stressed. I like the chant of OM at the start, i've never experienced that before and it helped to ground and start to be present. I love the chant of OM at the end and nice variation with the breath release before the chant. Body scan was also a nice variation in savasana. Good flow of sequences and it was nice to move slower to really engage in the move and in the moment. The music was perfect for it. I like that you say the official names of the moves, it helps me to learn the yoga language. This is also good to do any time of the day and also to help wind down before bed.
