10 Minute Yoga Stress and Anxiety

This is a gentle 10 minute yoga for stress and anxiety relief. The stretches in this yoga class are focusing on the hips to help release tension within the lower body. Focusing on the hips and lower back will help to let go of physical and emotional stress as we hold a lot of our stagnant emotion within our hips. The supine twist pose however will also get into the chest helping you to create the space needed for optimal oxygen intake helping to combat anxious feelings. Being super calm and restorative, this class can be done anytime of the day but i think it makes a great bedtime yoga routine.

I have an operation tomorrow. Ive already had 2 panic attacks today, left 3 of my classes and left school early....my SEN mentor and mt mum suggested yoga....thank you for this.

When you said “show yourself some self love and self care”, I almost cried. I’ve been shamed for trying to rest my body and mind, I’ve been shamed for trying to love myself and care about how my body feels. I have never really put in effort to try to help my body because I am not allowed to (my family doesn’t really care about how I feel, they say “just push through it” and it’s destroying me). Giving myself just a few minutes to stretch and lay down, listening to your voice, has been phenomenal. I will be coming back again. 💙✨🙏

This is a perfect yoga sequence. So short, so calming, no downward dog, just pure rest. At shivasana I heard a voice whispering I love you and I got so emotional 🥺

I have my law school graduation in 2 days. During savasana I literally started crying, realising that I am about to close the chapter of law school and having survived all the dark times that I had to go through the past couple of years. I have had a really stressful day today. First time doing a guided yoga.. and WOW! I am deff coming back tomorrow morning, and every morning for as long as I can. Such a good alternative to meditation. Something sitting and trying to focus on my breath doesn't always work but THIS STUFF hits the spot.
