100% true about cutting them off. Have personally experienced this and trying to reason with them is a waste of time. Its like talking to a machine.

I thought my grown daughter was going to change this time. She was crying and upset, so I believed that she 'hit bottom' and would realize her bad behavior, but NOPE. Just within three months, she's back to her manipulating ways. Yes, it hurts to set boundaries with my own 'grown' daughter, but I can't let her walk all over me, so I'll keep in touch with her, but it's on my terms, not when she wants something from me.

It hurts so deep when your own mother is the toxic/ narcissist 😔 but since I ended communication with her, I’m the happiest and most comfortable I’ve ever been. I feel young, happy and full of love to give and receive

I used to always have problems setting my boundaries, now I can tell them my boundaries and if they don't follow then I don't give chances, I just cut them off and block them altogether.

One tip I got from Uppity Negress was to save the person's number under what they did. Instead of someone's name, save (& block) their info under, say, "Raging Narcissist" or "Condescending Person Who Majes Me Feel Less Than"

That's what I plan to do.

I keep a journal and I go back and Read everything that happened when my mid tries yo trick me into believing that I miss them....when I check....nothing to miss! Back to sanity again! Thanks MJ

Warn them, cut them off if no response, block and delete in that order, in my mama Dee voice 😂😂😂
