"What must I do to be regenerated, so that I can then believe & be saved?"

Calvinism: There's nothing you can do, you're dead.

Calvinism doesn't offer hope, it robs people of it.

Building categories where there are none? The Gospel is simple: Christ died to give us choice; choose Jesus and live or choose self and die.

What is so encouraging to me is to see these questions being ask by other believers, the same questions that came to my mind when reading calvinist's view on regeneration preceding faith. I haven't yet received an answer

The Spirit grants life, keep in mind that salvation is a complete work of the Triune God.

Calvinism: "In order for you to have life, you have to adhere to our circus dance philosophy..."

Me: "Jesus IS life bro! I'm sticking with Jesus" 😎

Because it's a logical order, not a temporal one

Where do you place the Holy Spirit in the process?

This is from of all places, Wikipedia
"In Christian theology, good works, or simply works, are a person's (exterior) actions or deeds, in contrast to inner qualities such as grace or faith."
If faith is not from God, then it is an external action or deed, my friends

Well if you deny original sin of course this makes no sense

A new birth is required as Jesus explains clearly in John 3. No one has ever birthed themselves or even recalled that they were born. Why would Jesus use this analogy? Simple . Your birth into Christ is exactly the same. That new birth is the infant stage of your new identity in Christ. Our REGENERATION is just like God creating a new creature. Oh...hey Paul says we are new creatures... amazing.
you had nothing to do with your regeneration since you were dead in your trespasses and sin. Your ability to chose Christ, to put your faith in Christ, to decide to believe Christ and to tell others what happened to you was not possible without the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit opening your eyes and softening your heart.
Regeneration precedes faith.
If your reject that you have left a orthodox Christian view of salvation and have replaced it with a pagan view of god. A god who rewards creatures when they exhibit proper behavior.

Please take the time to read the true and inspiring word of God. The Bible does not call it life. The bible calls it grace

Ephesians 2:8

[8]For [z]by grace you have been saved [a]through faith. And this is [b]not your own doing; [c]it is the gift of God,

Cross-references

[z]: Eph 2:5
[a]: 1 Pet 1:5; Rom 4:16
[b]: 2 Cor 3:5
[c]: Jn 4:10; Heb 6:4

total nonsense, this is once again, a strawman of the Calvinist position, not once did they refer to any reformed creeds/confessions to prove their point.

I just keep watching your videos in disbelief, and keep shaking my head, because ive never heard these things taught in 4 years of Biblical study under calvinists. You continue to mischaracterize what a whole set of Christians believe. My thoughts are that you spend some actual time with a pastor who is calvinist and ask them.

Your understanding is the critical error. One who is dead in their sin can't believe in that state.

Calvinism does not separate out salvation. It EXPLICITLY declares that it is ALL OF GOD from beginning to end. In a certain sense, no one receives ANYTHING (e.g. life, breath, or anything) apart from Christ. As Paul declares in Athens, God gives to all men all things. As he clarifies in the Book of Colossians, all things are made by Christ (see verse 1:16). At the Cross, Christ secures the PARTICULAR grace of salvation to the elect. Christ then accomplishes it by forgiving the sins of his elect (i.e. cleansing them), causing them to be born again, and then giving them good works by which they prove their new life. It is ALL of God. The God who starts the good work, completes it (Phil 1:6).

It is non-Calvinists who break it up... making salvation about things that YOU DO to get into God's good grace and things that God does. However, it is not all of grace from the non-Calvinist perspective.

Regeneration is simply the process by which one is saved. It absolutely precedes faith.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:3‭-‬4 ESV

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
John 6:44 ESV

And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
John 6:65 ESV

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also *MAKE ALIVE* your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

If faith does not come from God, then it comes from us. Faith then becomes a work. Synergists always say faith is not a work, but how is it not if it comes from us? At least the Roman Catholics are consistent about works.
