What you said about fat shaming yourself to lose weight is honestly one of the wisest things I've heard abour weight loss. I'm currently struggling with losing weight and this helped me a lot to realize that I'm doing this in the wrong mindset. Thank you so much for sharing! New subscriber here💓😍

I was the same. My heaviest was 230lbs but I was never insecure. I was confident and loved myself and was never body shamed or called fat shockingly by anyone. I was raised in a very body positive household and had loving friends. (So I thought) it was my doctor who made me really look at myself and saw myself as unhealthy. Today I’m 139lbs and am not with those friends anymore due to jealousy minus one who joined me in losing weight together. I feel like I’m more self conscious now however now that I’m at a healthy weight then I was bigger. Which is a weird feeling. But being a better version of myself I suppose takes time. It took me two years to get here and I’ve come a long way❤

Wow I love your confidence and honesty 👏 yes diabetes are in my family and over lockdown I've put on a lot of weight. I have restricted sugar for 3 weeks now and I have lost 9 pounds. All I've done is changed my mindset and I would never go back. Thankyou for the inspiration, its people like you that keep me on track and positive about my weight loss journey 💗

i was skinny for years but i also always had a huge appetite and i always felt like i wanted to eat more, but i ate moderately to not gain weight. I used to obsess over foods and only think about food. At one point i snapped and i over ate a lot and gained 20-30 lbs. I want to be skinny again but I am scared of that mindset from before. I hated always craving food and everyday being a battle against what i wanted to eat and what i should eat.

I've started my health journey (healthier diet, more exercice and movement), not (only) for my weight, but for getting more healthy. I've been having troubles with my overall health, fitness and mental clarity (even though I'm only 29). I have the biological age of a 35 years old. And it was this finding that did it for me. I realized I have to start my journey NOW, and not wait 'another day, week, month...' I really don't want to end up with so many health issues that so many people in my environment have. My mom asks me: how can you keep the discipline? Simply because my health is everything I realized since last year (back injury, recurring back problems, fatigue etc...). I'm more motivated than ever.
