1. Give yourself 8 to 12 months
2. Focus on being not doing. Focus on the mental/belief aspect.
3. Discipline
4. Accept yourself as you are now and at every stage
5. Enjoy the process

I'm a 29-year-old woman and although the fitness goals for men are slightly different from mine, I want to say your videos really help me. I've been overweight since I have memory, I've been trying to lose the weight since I have memory, I cannot say how many times I have started and thought "This is it, this time is really going to happen" and it doesn't. I just hope I get there one day, in the mean time, people who share their knowledge and experience like you always help. So thank you.

“i fully accept that this is the stage that i’m at, that this body is mine, i love my body for allowing me to do all the things that i currently can do. i love my body and because i love my body i can open myself up for more improvements.” i absolutely love this.. i’m going to print it out and put it on my wall to remind myself when i’m feeling unmotivated :)

My gym is exactly 10 min walking from home so I always play this video to listen while going (yay mini podcast) and it honestly has motivated me so much. 4 weeks in and counting! I dont see big changes yet, just 2'5kg down and I feel so much better, finally i achieved the right mindset (which has been the hardest part for me) thank you for this vid <3

Subscribed. What you just said was both like a slap in the face and a much-needed warm hug!! Man, those words got to me. "Aligning your self-identity to your new body is the only way to a lasting transformation." Gold.

I'm 55 and have been training since I was 20. In all these years and countless articles and training advice, I've never heard such helpful advice in under ten minues. Thank you. Subscribed!

I really appreciate you discussing the psychology of weight loss and fitness. I think it's often really neglected and a lot of people fail because they go into it hating themselves and feeling they don't deserve nice things. I know I have sabotaged myself on many occasions because of these issues. Facing them is an important step in getting your mind and body healthy. Thanks for the good content!

I lost around 22 pounds but also gained muscle this year and it really takes a mindset reset. I always thought « this is who I am and how I look and that wont change » but it does change. And if you give yourself time you will lose weight.

I started my journey last week and your videos emphasized everything I realized so far : weight lost is a self-acceptance, gain positives outlook and habits on our lifestyle and a lifetime journey!

The way you talk sounds like food for the mind, body, and soul. I love that you end with enjoying the process too. It's just a great life reminder as well to be grateful for the things you experience ❤

You really nailed the psychological aspects of working out, a lot of people think self-loathing is form of motivation, but working out that way is self destructive behavior. You need self-acceptance and love in order to truly improve.

Thank you so much for this video! It's a real big reassurance for me that I'm on the right path. I've been overweight for so long now, and was always trying to lose weight in a very counter-productive way. I've finally come to the point where I'm learning to accept myself and am trying to make sure I feel confident enough that I dare to take action and truly believe that I am worth taking care of and that I can really feel that I deserve having a healthy and strong body. I get some pushback from my environment, so seeing this video really makes me feel like someone has my back and that I'm not crazy. I'm very grateful for it.

I have been following your videos for the past two weeks and I have found them incredibly inspiring. I recently just hit the milestone of losing 25kg (55 pounds) and I feel it has required way more of myself than I would have ever realized, and yet at the same time, I am so grateful of this process because it has awakened in me an understanding of my true potential.

I agree with every key point you make in this video, especially the visualizing the person at the end and focusing on BECOMING the transformation, not just passively partaking in the process.

Also, FUN! I celebrate everything, and to be honest, to celebrate everything without needing to use food to do so is a celebration in itself!

I still need to lose another 25kg to become my ideal "lean" physique, but to have made it this far, I already feel so lucky.

Thank you for the content and I am loving seeing your channel literally explode from a few thousand to 30k+ in a matter of DAYS! - Well done and well earned.

Much love from Shanghai. 😄

Hey Man, this video really hit home. I was almost in tears because of everything you have mentioned.
The self Identity and accepting current physique, I have had such a hard time doing this but you’re so right. I look forward to starting my journey with these key principles and I’m excited for your next video. You have truly broken down every single feeling I’ve had during this journey.

Thanks Wanhee
