I've been working on this video since Jan 2020 and never really found the motivation to finish it until now. It's awkward posting it because it's so personal but it's also why I wanted to make it in the first place. A lot of this was inspired by a past relationship but I also expanded to include more stuff. I'm not gonna go into details and publicly list what did or didn't happen to me specifically. Some of it is my experience, some of it is other women's experiences.

In this video, I chose to focus on female victims (again, bc of personal experience) but men can be victims of abvse too.

I'm not fit to give advice on what to do if you find yourself in a toxic relationship. This video, like any fanvid, is a simplified version of actual situations. Just because I'm showing someone walking away safely from a relationship doesn't mean it's easy. Reality is more complicated. This video isn't a tutorial.

The couples/characters used in this edit are not all toxic. I just used whatever scenes I could get my hands on that fit the picture I wanted to paint.

I know there's a glitch somewhere and I tried to fix it but it won't let me.

The fact that I liked so many of these characters relationships makes me question myself but I also know I liked it for entertainment purposes and would never model after that in real life. As usual beautifully edited.

Humans feelings are complicated, they can do the best, they can do the worst, but for me, there is always hope. I don't know how to comment because it hurts even if don't know anything about being in such a relationship, but maybe that why it hurts because I wish no one had to go through this... i just wanna add, i know this isn't really the point of the video, but even after all the effort the writers went through to paint relationships like chair and delena as toxic, somehow they still thought hey!! let's make them end up together!! let's give the toxic men a "redemption arc" (and i put it in quotation marks because, while i think damon did change quite a bit, chuck bass absolutely did not), and romanticise the fuck out of these relationships so that the impressionable teens watching our shows will decided that THIS is the type of love they aspire to have, the type of love where you absolutely tear yourself and your significant other apart

If your partner gives scars to ur heart which takes a long long time to heal and they do it wantedly knowingly then it's time to leave that's it we r not an error repairer if so first we have to repair ours and find who makes us happy
