Thank you! I needed a refresher on this exercise. I have degenerative disk disease L1-3, stenosis, & sclerosis and have been doing this exercise. It does help. I also tend to overdo it, like you said, and use too much leg. Thanks again.

Perfect timing. I'm suffering low back pain going on 3 days now. Think a majority of it is due to my boots being worn out and my foot strike/pronation being off. My boots are shot literally.

What tips do you have/what video of yours would you recommend foe having really tight neck and shoulder and upper back muscles. I'm a runner and musician and right handed person! so this is causing me a lot of pain/triggers anxiety more because I feel a lot of that muscle and nerve pain/tightness up there. I'm so tight! Especially on my right side. So when I play guitar or do desk work or run, or even WALK, I feel ALL of this tension up there! What would you recommend to loosen that, stretching and physical therapy wise?

HI Dr. Jo! Thank you so much for these videos! I do about 20 minutes of your exercises/stretches every morning and they have really helped with my lower back pain! I also purchased a small trampoline/rebounder about 6 months ago and am a little afraid of using it any more for fear it will aggravate my sciatica/lower back pain. Seems to be about 50/50 when it comes to opinions about whether it can help or not. What is your opinion on gentle daily use of rebounders? Thanks!!

Hi Dr Jo I have a lot of tightness and spasms in my abdominal muscles, is this a sign of weak core muscles? Thank you

Hi Dr Joe!
Thank you for this and all your videos!
I’ve been prone to low back/hip injuries for more years than I like to admit. Finally went to an ortho yesterday and found I have sacralization of the L5 on the injury prone side. I don’t want to give up on my weight training just yet… would you have any recommendations for strengthening/stabilizing my SI/lumbar spine to help with recurrence of injury under heavy loads (squatting and deadlifting in particular)?
My daughters are PT and AT grad students and I’m always sharing your vids with them so they can help me implement any recommendations you might have.
Thank you!

Hi doctor Jo. I’m confused with what I should do, I was discharged from physio as he said he couldn’t help me because I had a bulging disc L4/5
I’ve since been referred to spinal surgeons awaiting a consultation but
I live in constant pain with it radiating down my leg into my foot.
Is there anything I can do to help. I’m in the uk
