Enjoy this 20 minute yoga stretch to increase lower body flexibility in hips and hamstrings.

Hey yogis, this week's free YouTube yoga class is a 20 minute lower body stretch to increase flexibility in your hips and hamstrings while also relieving tension from quads and hip flexors.

This is a great sequence for any yogi feeling stiff and tight. I'm not using any props but you might benefit from having a block or two close by. This is a hatha yoga stretching sequence incorporating some of my all-time favorite hip openers. Enjoy!

I love how you said "invite" your body to relax! I often find myself trying to convince or will my body to relax, which can be counterproductive. Now I can remember to INVITE it to relax instead! Great class as always! Thank you!

Kassandra this routine completely and marvellously sorts out my regularly-tight lower back! It's been TRANSFORMATIVE for me - ever since putting my back out when 7 months pregnant it has not been the same and threatens to 'go' fairly regularly. When I feel it twinging I do this routine and it is an instant cure for me! I thought I would flag it up in case anyone else has regular lower back issues - this routine has never failed to fix me. For each downward dog reset my heels got closer to the ground. What a great way to notice the difference/ effectiveness of this yoga stretch, thanks!

Discovered your channel about 5 months ago after quitting smoking and needing to fill my extra time and extra energy with something other than my usual exercise regime (high intensity military style). I’m loving the yoga and loving your videos. Perfect for any occasion, early morning 10mins or a full hour one lazy afternoon.
But I’m finding myself trying to squeeze extra minutes in but you don’t have many 20 or 25min morning sessions... 🥶
Any chance of getting some more sessions of this length - eg. all over body stretches?
