A simple 15 min guided meditation for beginners to gain clarity.

Hi yogis, some of you have been requesting meditation tutorials so I'm offering you this very simple 15 minute meditation that is perfect for beginners!

I'll go over the basics of meditating and then we will go right into it. The trick is to not obsess over clearing your mind! Don't worry about always being still, always being thought-free or meditating "perfectly". Simply sit and breathe, that's it! Over time the spaces between your thoughts will distance themselves but there's no need to rush or force it.

Make sure you are sitting comfortably, either on a block or a few blankets. You can even sit on a chair if sitting on a floor doesn't work for you! I hope you enjoy this simple and straightforward guided meditation :)

Right after the meditation i didnt notice any difference. But now, a few minutes later i feel so soo relaxed.

New subscriber here. I was so discouraged at first, I suffer from depression and anxiety disorder. When I close my eyes, I always feel like someone is about to attack me from behind, so I was very distracted at first but it got a little better as time went by. This was my first meditation session. It was beautiful I was able to manage my thoughts an focus on my positive vibrations and energy. I finished very relaxed and feeling clear thank you

I’m not going to lie I just went on a roller coaster of emotions. First meditation in a long time. Started crying out of nowhere and then it turned to happy tears and I felt my problems peeling away like layers. Opened my eyes grateful to be breathing this amazing air and looking at this beautiful world

I have to thank you for this meditation. I have been trying to meditate on and off for years, to bring quiet to my morning routine and to manage anxiety. Strangely enough, I would start to feel that I wasn't meditating in the "right way" because my mind would wander, and this would only amplify my anxiety. You made me understand that this is about practice and not perfection. This allowed me to have a peaceful 15 minutes. Many thanks! <3

My boyfriend recently got into meditation and has been bugging me about doing it. I have terriable anxiety and he thought it would help. I did this tonight with you and it helped very much. Planning yo do morning yoga too!

Have tried a few different teachers but found Cassandra to be the best one for me. Her soothing voice and gentle instructions are a pleasure to listen to and follow each morning I meditate. Thanks for the wonderful video and keep up the good work. You make the world a better place.

5 years later, I still come back to this video. Truly helps me. Im pretty sure last 5 years ago Ive left a comment here somewhere.
I was a fresh graduate, in my new first corporate job and away from my family.
I'm married now, moved abroad, and still come & search for this video.

I still dedicate sending the clarity to my mother and my sister, strongest women in my life. Still brought tears in my eyes today.
I miss them so much. Thank you for still having this video up on YouTube.

I was so focused on steadying my breath and resting my mind that I didn't realise I'd been crying until the end when we had to open our eyes. Thank you for this. I'm very, very thankful you posted this video. I'm certain a lot of us needed clarity and peace. I feel so much better now.

This meditation is simple & effective. I love to do it when I am tired as it refreshes me, plus it has really helped me with my meditation practice. Because of using this particular meditation, I find that I can also use it to clear my mind at bedtime and prepare for sleep. Thank you Kassandra,
