This is a new guided mindfulness meditation focused on caring for yourself and showing love for yourself - GO EASY on yourself! I'll bet you are the kind of person who takes on big challenges and puts a lot of pressure on yourself. As the saying goes, we are often our own worst critics. Meditating and being mindful of what pressures cause us stress and anxiety can lead to a healthier mental state. Although it can be healthy to hold ourselves to a high standard, we don't want to work ourselves into a loss of personal well-being.

Let the dialogue and ambient music soundtrack guide you. The calm and peaceful guided meditation dialogue lasts for about 12 minutes, followed by a few minutes of ambient music to bring you back out of meditation - 15 minutes total. You really can take it EASY on yourself!

I just did this - but I have no idea if I did it 'right' or if there is even a right way to do it. But its my very first time ever doing anything like this. At the end when I opened my eyes in the quiet of my living room I had to blink a number of times, as if I needed to wake up and get my brain back into gear. It was almost like I had been asleep, but I hadn't been because I was listening to the instruction. A very strange experience (but not unpleasant) - but I'll keep going.

My bpd has me challenging myself every second of the day.. and it's exhausting.. mentally.. emotionally.. your basically a prisoner in your own mind. Punishing yourself.. don't dare to be too happy because it isn't deserved.. I love your mediations and I've been listening for a year or so. And I still struggle hard to focus.. but I keep trying because your voice is very welcoming.. soothing.. kind. Thank you for having these videos available..
