Why Narcissists want to pretend that NOTHING HAPPENED after they yell or scream at you or do something bad to you. #narcissistic people want to avoid accountability and avoid shame at all costs.

Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.

The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.

They pretend nothing happened because they’d have to acknowledge it and therefore be accountable for their actions. So by pretending nothing happened, that’s their way of not taking accountability.

They play the victim to get sympathy and turn everyone you know against you. It happened to me. I no longer dwell on it. Karma's a b**** and their actions will come back to them. No matter how entitled they are thinking they got away with it. Give no reaction. Ignore them and move on with your life. And do not accept their hoover or their half assed apology. "Im sorry for what I did but you made me do it!" 😂

Wheeeww this was the bookshelf moment! I told him the next time he gave me the silent treatment we’d be done. He did it and went almost an entire month then one day he assumed we’d just have seggs and it’d be all better. I absolutely refused and he lost his mind. A couple weeks later moved out and haven’t looked back since

5 months no contact. FINALLY starting to feel so much better and seeing the breakup as the blessing in disguise that it was. I was so hurt and confused by that man’s behaviour. My therapist told me this is why you don’t just have to hold boundaries, but there have to be consequences when boundaries are breached. Because otherwise some people will have no motive to listen to them.

Thank you. This confused me, when i began spending time with my companion. No discussions, no behavior changes, Unless there's an argument. But, the changes don't last. It's like he's on his better behavior, for a few days, at most, then it's right back to the same stuff.
