Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder ( NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.

The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. Yep. My husband and his mother both gave me the silent treatment on my birthday. I ignored them both, ordered a nice steak dinner for myself from Ruth Chris, and enjoyed a glass of wine. It was a lovely day!

It used to make me so angry to receive the silent treatment from people I care about.
Now I let it roll on. I enjoy the silence and don't allow it to affect my composure or mood. I now make them come to me.

My narcissist has been giving me the silent treatment for a YEAR and I NEVER let him see me sweat -- for an entire year, I just act cheerful + happy whenever I'm around him, just doing my own thing, UNBOTHERED + UNAFFECTED. It's created a massive power shift that PISSES HIM OFF to no end, because he can't get me to care.

Yep. Things like making a point of being on WhatsApp while leaving you on read. They know you will see them online, and it will hurt you to know they're busy chatting away to other people, but not to you. It's sounds silly, but it's surprising how much these little things really hurt and eat away at your self esteem.

My ex used to activates the “read” option for texts msgs. I don’t even know what to think when I remember those things. It’s so small but so insidious… only us on the receiving end know how it’s mind blowing while it’s happening. I used to think this was childish and that he was doing on purpose. Now that I educate myself my thoughts are that this is not only immature but also diabolical and extremely low! You don’t know people so evil exist until you deal with these types. Sometimes I still don’t believe I let myself go through all that. But it is what it is. I’m not a victim I was naive and now I’m not anymore. I have this super power in recognizing this parasites from a far and keep them there. Never again. Cruelty can lead you to insanity if don’t get educated. Thanks for your work, young man ❤

This really helped me today, I just sent a close friend a message saying that I submitted an audition video to a big agency, but instead of cheering me on, they left my messages on read and when I asked them what was wrong, they left the messages on read again, it felt as though they were trying to discourage me or get under my skin, so this vid really helped me :) I won’t disrespect myself anymore by begging them to talk to me or worrying about what’s wrong, I will wait until they decide to reach out 🙏✨
