Is your face stressed? This beautiful, guided meditation helps you to release the muscle tension associated with stress and anxiety. This softening of your face has a powerful effect on your entire body and mind.

You can outsmart your anxiety by relaxing your facial muscles. The face can hold a lot of tension without you being consciously aware of it. The muscles around your eyes gripping as you squint your eyes. Your brow being furrowed as you concentrate. Your jaw holding onto tension as you unknowingly grind your teeth. The neck muscles straining as they have to compensate for your bad posture.

By learning to relax your face you can release stress in your body and mind. Anxiety can cause muscles to hold tension and muscle tension can cause you to feel stressed.

This gentle meditation will help you to reduce stress in your body using four techniques:
00:00 Breathing long and slow
02:12 face relaxation
11:20 Showing self-compassion
14:18 Healing affirmations
18:30 Trickling water nature sounds

Noticing and relaxing every muscle in your body is an act of kindness toward yourself. Allowing yourself to let go, even for a moment.

Going forward, check your face for tension, then allow yourself to consciously release the muscle tension.

This is exactly what I needed! With all this craziness that is going on in the world now I noticed I am holding a lot of tension in my face and I catch it, but it's hard to release it. I love the specific body part relaxations that you have... they are wonderful and they are helpful! You are truly wonderful... and your voice is so calming! I love your meditation videos but i think it’ll be better if you do a more general mediation video as in like not particularly focusing on stomach or face etc
