I've always wondeedr how much he would've lost if he kept the workout regimen the same, but ate 800 cals below maintenance instead of 1200. But, kudos to him for accomplishing his goal.

I’m currently eating 1800 calories a day. I started at 360lbs on February 27th and I slowly dropped my caloric intake over the past 5 months losing a total of 73lbs. Another remarkable accomplishment I tracked was my muscle mass. I started at 111lbs of lean muscle and through the 73lb weight loss I have only lost 3-4lbs of muscle. Generally it’s not uncommon for people lose 3x this amount of muscle with that much weight loss.

I was strict on my diet 90% of the time and no matter what I did I made sure I hit my daily protein macros.

I eat just protein Monday morning through Friday afternoon about 750 calories a day. Carb back up Friday night through Sunday about 4000 calories a day. In 5 months from 230 lds too 170lds. Works best for me.

Absurdly low calorie count. Definitely unsustainable. I do love Aseel's channel though :)

Am I the only one not on the David Goggins hype train? I mean, I get what he's achieved is impressive, but the lengths he goes to always came across as more "weird fanatic". Almost like the effort he puts into achieving healthy goals is the same mindset as a heroin addict needing to get their next fix (which is insane if you have ever known a heroin addict).

Wait so to lose that much, (1kg every 2 days), he would have to be 1750 cal under maintenance every day(3500cal deficit =1kg). God damn this is unsustainable unless you have the mindset of goggins.
