In middle school (mid-90s), I had a substitute teacher who happened to be some sort of ex-Army explosives specialist. He ended up talking about McVeigh and said that with the amount of explosives that was in the truck, it should've leveled the entire block, not just half the building. He said that he must've screwed up something with the detonators and not all of the explosives went off at the same time.

As someone from Oklahoma, Timothy McVeighs name is infamous and just enrages me because I am old enough to remember that day vividly. My mom is a federal employee and she left work early to pick me up from school and take me home because we didn't know what exactly what was going on but we knew federal employees were the intended targets.
