For anyone wondering why he claimed his obesity was why he shouldn't be executed, it related to that and medication he was taking at the time. They argued that this would weaken the power of the anesthesia he'd be given and along with health issues caused by his weight, would make the injection "cruel and unusual punishment".
Obviously not defending him but anyone who thinks he tried to say "OHH I'm fat don't kill me" is wrong
