Thank you so much! this trick has singlehandedly fixed my push up problem! I was getting to frustrated that my joints would give out before i could push my muscles to their limit. I am training for marines boot camp and was scared that I could only do 5 push ups before my right shoulder would go out, and now I can do 40.

I literally haven’t done push ups in about a year because they were hurting my shoulders but I love doing them so much I figured I’d give them another go. They still hurt. After watching your video and correcting my form 0 pain!!! Thank you so much!!! They also feel far more affective 👍🏻

Absolute GENIUS! My god, I’ve been focused on working my upper body strength the last year, and been going crazy because the pain got to the point I would have rather put my arm in a wood chipper than do another push up.

Not only did this almost immediately alleviate the pain, I felt like I got so much more effective of a workout! My chest is on fire doing half the push ups I would normally do.

I don't know why I never considered this. You tighten your scapula when benching, so why would it be different with push-ups?

I started to feel some anterior delt pain some weeks ago. Not always, but sometimes it shows up. Yesterday i trained pullups and pushups and did depression and retraction of the scapula. Today i'm feeling muscle soreness in muscles around de scapula and not on the delt. Great!

thanx for this tip had this problem for a long time ..also used an other tip along with what you are showing, using dumbells as push up handles facing inwards on an angle....just tried both and it really helps ..I'm 55 used to be able to do 100 or so now struggle with 20, your a lifesaver
