That quick shoulder exercise is so easy yet effective.
I did other exercises and was always over compensating how far I should retract my shoulders for the 'optimal' or 'correct' shoulder position.

I tore my glenoid labrum in a shoulder dislocation and it hurts in the front now 4 months later. Finally can do one pain-free push up now in rehab.

HOLY CRAP, ever since quarantine I’ve only been on a chair slouched literally for a year, now coming out of that i have some bad effects. Bad posture, something weird but in sit-ups neck pains which is primarily because of my posture and while doing sit ups tricep/shoulder pain this has helped me a lot and has definitely reminded me how i can fix my posture. Thank you.

omg thx sooo much straight after this i did some exercises for a few minutes and i can now do push ups easily without any pain whatsoever. Just focus on your joints posture and formation also practise by doing some push ups on the wall or other surfaces!

2:38 Great video, I want to to ask if re-establishing that good posture is just putting your shoulders back and down as many of the physiotherapists says or the shrugging before that makes the difference here? Just want to know cuz when I do it with the shrugs I feel much more contraction between my shoulder blades than just putting them back and down.

I attempted after a long time, it did hurt while doing it but I still have the mild pain after a day

Cool. I think I was just doing my pushups with my elbows toooo close to my body.
I rarely feel any exhaustion in my pecs or anywhere else. But my shoulders would always feel like they were on fire.
I'm going to focus more on my posture during pushups in my training. Hopefully this helps!

Thanks for this. I do pushups and can do about 35 pushups in a minute but after I hit like 10 my shoulders starts feeling like something is about to tear in my shoulder and the pain while pushing back up is so immense

about that shoulders backj and down position, this doesnt seem to be up to date anymore since a lot of big fitness channels advise to open your shoulderblades at the top position of the push up

From my expereince of doing push ups my chest hurt at first until i kept doing it more and it stops hurting and my chest grew bigger
