How to Fix Popping Shoulders and Elbows During Push-ups

Popping shoulders and elbows are a common issue, especially when doing push-ups and dips.
One of the reasons for popping joints is a lack of tension support in the antagonist muscle group. With push-ups, this means a lack of tension in the back muscles like the lats and trapezius.
Warming up with some gentle rear deltoid flys or rows can wake up these muscles and help them engage during push-ups to improve the tracking of your elbows and shoulder joints.

this is crazy, feels like there shouldn't be any correlation between what feels like a shoulder stretch and my elbows popping but... works flawlessly!

I've been having problems with my left elbow popping everytime I do push-ups and I did the first exercise for less than a minute, did another push up and it was literally gone thank you so much

I tried a cross friction massage on my tendon and also hot cold treatment and stretches and has helped a lot so far and not been long

both my elbows pop when im doing pushups, and i can even feel pain and discomfort in my joints right after the pop . Your video didnt fix the popping sound but it took away my pain from the elbows, thank you

Mine is more on my left collar bone. Doesn't hurt just feels really weird which puts me off doing them excersises.

Did the hand clasping stretch for less than a minute and tried again and there was no more popping in my elbow MANY THANK YOUS

Glad to find the vid, I get popping in my right shoulder only when doing dips. Had bad tendinitis in the same arm years ago but wear a sleeve for it. I have barely any pain maybe just slight impingement but it’s just annoying and I even make sure to keep my back tight and touch my shoulder blades together.

Thank you so much, I started going to the gym and got heavier when I got more muscle me then my joints started cracking this helped.
