I was doing 50 push ups a day on the third day my right shoulder started to hurt when I started so I was searching the internet for a fix and I come across this video it really helped me thank you upright health

Thank you for showing me that first exercise (1:01). My left shoulder always had slight pain doing side abductions, that first exercise immediately (yes, immediately) relieved the pain I have been experiencing for few months.

@Upright Health Hi Matt. This is just what I needed a few months ago. However, I did the other shoulder exercises you taught us, and now I'm able to do pushups without excruciating pain. Previously I could barely move my right arm, and it felt like the bones were restricting movement, hereby it was very painful to do pushups. Anyway, I persisted with numerous exercises you showed on your videos, and soon my shoulder went back to normal. Thanks so much! I feel indebted to you and will make it up to you when I can. These were so helpful. I have a desk job so my shoulders are often rounded forward looking at a computer. I also write alot so I was getting alot of shoulders pain in my dominant arm. I also powerlift 3 days a week. The combination of the 2 were wrecking havoc and i was getting lots of front shoulder pain on ALL push motions. Didn't realize, my rear delts had gotten super weak. I prioritize the big muscle group during training and forget about the little guys that have huge stabilizing responsibilities! These have made me not only consider my rear delts/rotator cuff but now I try to remember to stretch my wrists and ankles and hip flexor. OH! THE SWEET RELIEF

hi, I have pain during and after doing pushups - but mainly on the middle deltoid, of one shoulder. What might be the cause? stretches before and after don't help, and the pain is also while bench pressing or shoulder pressing. thanks!

I’m dealing with Achilles’ tendonitis right now and it sucks, so I’m thinking I should think of ways to prevent any other injuries before they happen. My push ups are progressing but I’m starting to notice shoulder pain. I’ll do the stretches and it looks like I should also incorporate rows to engage the opposite side. Thanks! I’m also wondering if there’s a way to measure where and at what angle my hands should be planted to help create the best movement. I’m 53 and a former athlete, getting back in shape is full of surprises, but im confident I can do it.

Thanks a lot for suggesting about these exercises. I haven't been able to do push up since yesterday due to shoulder pain and I thought it was because I had been doing push in the wrong form. Anyhow after doing these exercises my shoulders r back normal.

Chest flys also cause this pain for me at times using dbs have been less painful

I tried doing ring dips for the first time last week and afterwardsI I picked my kids up from school and when I put their backpack on I felt a sharp pain in the front of my shoulder and it hurt anytime I tried to move it. I found your shoulder massage video and used a ball to work out the tight muscle and tried some of these stretches once I could move it and I was basically back to normal after 2 days. I still get a slight tightness in the front of my shoulder but it just made me realize that I really need to work on my shoulder and thoracic mobility.

I struggle from 1 year with shoulder pain. the pain is located both in front and on top of the shoulder when I’m doing pullup, max front elevation, or max crossing my arm in front and across my body., or trinying to reach the middle of my shoulder blade from down. It’s feeling better as I’m avoiding all these mouvement and doing extrenal rotator cuff strenghtning as well as pec and lat strechs. And trying to rebuils these moves slowly, but still can do one series of pullups or 3 series of pushups without pain the day after. I you get some ideas.
