Start your day with this intermediate vinyasa class focusing on hips, backbends and balance.

Good morning, thank you so much for joining me! I'm going to take you through an intermediate vinyasa flow practice to help you begin your day with purpose, mindfulness and ease. This is a really stretchy flow focusing on mobility and flexibility with a bit of strength and balance added in. The goal is to get you really comfortable in your body and fully aware of the flow of your breath.

You can expect a lot of hip openers and backbends and no props are required. This is best suited for intermediate practitioners. We'll get into poses like lizard, tree, sphinx, camel, triangle, pigeon and banana pose before settling into savasana. I think it's one of my personal favorite sequences to date so I hope you'll enjoy it too :)

Love your classes. I’m 75 and want to stay strong and flexible. You explain each move so that there isn’t any confusion and always remind us that “there’s nothing to prove”. Continue doing what you do. I enjoy practicing yoga with you.

Kassandra, I’ve been practicing with you for a few years now and I am so grateful & proud of you. Every flow seems to get better and stronger and so soothing. Thank you for all you do and how much love time & effort you put into free yoga on YouTube. That standing chair twist was incredible and reminded me of the late Fightmaster Yoga. Maybe it’s not really my place to say this, but I really feel that you carry on her legacy of mindful and graceful yoga on the internet. If you’ve ever considered sharing quotes during Shavasana like she did, I encourage it because I think it’s really soothing to hear a wonderful quote at the end of a practice. This class was *exactly* what my body wanted today after a gym day yesterday, and had just the right amount of challenge for me. I became very ill last year, lost my physical practices for a while, and I am so thrilled to be back on my mat with you every morning again. Thank you so much.

That really helped my back and hips! Also going through some challenging things with my family at the moment so doing a nice slow flow with longer poses was really nice to help me ground, connect with my breath, and loosen up! Have a fabulous day everyone!

I have been working longer hours this week, and my body has not been happy about sitting down for so many consecutive hours. I found this practice last night and intentionally woke up earlier to do it and I can already tell that it will elevate my day. Thank you for this flow, it was exactly what I needed! I'll be coming back to this video many more times.

I am used to do your 30 min intermediate classes that seem the best for me except for any seated forward folds (I am just trying to sit with flat back instead that is still pretty hard for me). Thank you so much Kassandra for all your work!
I am from Ukraine and just six months of yoga have been prepared me for these horrible times. You've helped me to believe in myself, to grow my self-esteem, to keep myself more stable and just be grateful for simple moments of life. During the first week of the war I wasn't able to take any class and now I am so grateful for having this possibility to practice with you again and I am so happy to see a new 30 min intermediate flow from you that I needed so much ❤️
