An intermediate practice to stretch your body and get a boost of energy after a long day's work.

Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today I'm going to take you through a flow that's ideal to do sometime in the afternoon when you're starting to feel that mid-day slump. It can also be a great class to do right after work especially if you spend a lot of time sitting or standing.

We'll focus quite a bit on our hips and lower back, no props are required. At the end you should feel really good in your body and re-invigorated. This is an intermediate level vinyasa flow class and I'll take you through poses like: deer, pyramid, high lunge, puppy and locust.

Every time I start one of your videos I'm grumpy because I'd rather be sitting in my recliner eating peanut butter cups but by the end I'm like "I feel amazing, this is the best thing I've done all day and I can't wait to do another". You have quickly become my favourite yoga teacher, I do yoga to get rid of the aches and pains caused by sitting on my computer/painting all day in awkward positions, and your videos bring me the most value - this was not the first time I started with someone elses video but due to it being more of a 30min mindfulness exercise than a yoga class I quickly came back to your channel and found exactly what I was looking for - a great balance between being present yet still moving and stretching those aching muscles. Your videos are amazing, thank you!

The afternoon classes are my favorites! The afternoon after work is when I have time to do yoga so it feels great to have stretches tailored for afternoon boosts :)
