Holy shit, I allways had that feeling, and the only cure was being completely random.. It’s kinda funny but also frustrating, I started so many new hobby’s which I allways switch up because there’s not enough time for me to do all of them.. But taking a drive or meeting new people is a good advice!

My wife intoroduced your contents form instagram, but i was surprised that i could not find your videos with keywords 'adhd or adhd shorts' because of you have not chosen by algorithm of mine even my algorithm knows i have diagnosed as adult-ADHD.
I started to comment the translation of your script in Korean, because i want to introduce your videos to Korean people who struggle with ADHD like me.

Thanks for making helpful videos!

"Your brain is allergic to boredom"

I felt that

I never think I'm bored but it definitely loses the spark and I feel trapped. It was terrible when I settled into a long term job (changed frequently) and bought a house (moved annually) and settled down with a partner (couldn't maintain a relationship). Suddenly I felt suffocated and something had to give. I went to therapy and left my permanent post, instead I joined the staff bank... zero hours contracts are risky but I was in a different ward every day which made it more exciting. I'm now 20 years in that job, home and still with my partner ❤🎉. That's a huge achievement for me 😊.

I find visiting museums and art galleries to be very helpful. because they are free (in the UK), great for winter and bad weather. Botanic gardens are also exciting for me because they are ever changing.

For the past 6 months i feel like i have no other reason to get out of bed, the only reason is my kids and work

Thank you for this. I hope you can naturally source the level of zeal I sense resonating from your shorts. It would be an inspiration to hear someone with this level of emotion derived from a different source than most pharm - humans do. It looses its substance after a while. Chemicals will make you jaded and numb at one point or another it’s inevitable.

ADHD Life Lesson i wish someone told me after getting diagnosed. (2/50)

if you have ADHD you will often inevitably come to points in your life where it will start getting difficult to get out of bed again

because whatever you started out doing in the most enjoyable fashion has somehow lost its spark.

It's difficult to put into words but everyday life just becomes a struggle because it seems too repetitive

you start feeling guilty

this is when(what) i learned

that i need to start introducing new things into my life again

do something completely out of the ordinary like switching up environments

meeting new people, travelling

doing things you don't usually do or have never done.

it could be as simple as taking a random drive somewhere you've always wanted to go

Your brain is literally allergic to boredom.

Lesson 2 : Seek newness to stay inspired and motivated.

It’s not really a solution honestly. Not being able to stick to one thing is the problem, just changing the thing doesn’t help. It can help in everyday life doing or trying something new, but not with important things… unless you become a content creator and have the opportunity to do different things at different places it’s not that easy
