As someone who loves writing and making art and animations, this is so incredibly relatable. I’ve always thought it was just me but it feels good to know other people with adhd have it too! 😅

Edit: I’ve also noticed that when I work on a project in a different place in my own time helps drastically!

Bro I need you to know how important these videos are!
I came across one of these videos and I am now binge watching the intire series and every single one of these videos is making me emotional. Everything that I have been struggling with is making sense to me now. You really know what you’re talking about! It feels like you are taking a look inside my mind and speed-teaching me all the lessons I need to learn. You are amazing and I cannot thank you enough! I am screenrecording every single one of these videos because I MUST NEVER LOSE THEM because they are worth more that gold to me. You are my ADHD-older-brother preventing me from slipping into another adhd-induced-depressive episode.
Gosh! If only I could hug you and thank you in person for the way you are changing my life with just these couple of minutes worth of videos.

Yes the only way I can get to they gym and stay there is riding the stationary bike because I can sit and watch all my favorite you tube channels from the bike. The time goes by incredibly fast.

I crochet. I have four work-in-progress projects. I learned how to get past the guilt of abandoning a project because its not working out, by recycling the yarn.

Fellas, its ok to do whatever you want. I crochet because I enjoy it, the creativity and relaxation of it. Even if I don't finish a project, I have plenty of time to keep at it, and the joy of finishing a cardigan or a stuffed bear is worth it.

Start small, tho. That way you can finish a project faster and get that gratifying feelings earlier, and that's gonna motivate you more.

Most of us don't have the resources to do this.... almost all of this. We're lucky if we can find and afford (even with insurance) a psychiatrist to provide medication and support.

Thank you it explains why I picked like five hobbies to start a business but tell me why I loved them all so much at first but I later loss the happy feeling each of them was giving me don't get me wrong I still like them but just can't find that happy feeling they were giving me at first tells why I just stopped ima try this and pick one of those hobbies up again so I can finally start what I like to do thanks bro

I just discovered you today. But it feels like you're telling me my daily life struggles. WOW. Super impressed. Also very good tips, I try to apply this to my life. As this, described here is really my biggest pain point in my current career and also private life and private projects.

I get bogged down, overwhelmed first. Everything abt the project or task is daunting. Then I jump in without structure or strategy… get 90% done and scrap it. Then do it again but better … i just can’t seem to break out of this pathetic approach
