What is NDSR? It’s a guided relaxation tool that, according to Stanford University neuroscience Professor Andrew Huberman, “has enormous effects on not just accessing sleep and calm, but enhancing rates of neuroplasticity.” Sounds pretty good, right?

According to Dr. Huberman NSDR:
Helps with memory retention
Enhances rates of neuroplasticity, which can promote learning
Relieves stress
Improves cognitive function
Improves sleep quality
Enhances focus and mental clarity
Potentially helps with pain management

Thank you Lizzie as this non-sleep deep rest, NSDR guided meditation on breath is a beautiful way to incorporate that in the Restorative pose Supta Baddha Konasana. Thoughts?
I think I might teach this in my Restorative class this coming Tuesday. Bringing the awareness to internal breath sensation, external breath, sensation, an integration of whole breath, life force throughout our entire body. Beautiful and thank you, Lizzie.💕♥️💕☀️

Beautiful! I only wish there was some white noise with it. I must have fallen asleep because about 50 minutes into it I realized it had been over for 20 minutes/.
