just done a few days to a week, nsdr/yoga nidra every day. found out thru the common route of Huberman's podcast. it is both as simple and powerful as touted, something quite rare. meditation usually takes a while, is supposed to be very gradual, and is not often easy or accessible esp to a complete beginner. yoga nidra couldnt be simpler, and the effects are instantaneous, powerful, and often last in some ways through the day. besides being more well rested i am less anxious, more aware, keep better states longer & easier, less reactive, better attention span, naturally perform or are inclined to less addictive or spiralling behaviours, naturally find it easier to do work or tasks or chores...the list goes on. it is remarkable to find something which does exactly what it is touted and so incredibly accessibly. thank you for this.

After being asked to call the presence down to heart center I felt my jaw relax and I hadn’t even realized it was so tight. I know that doesn’t sound like much but it felt like a huge relief to me in that moment.

I did this practice at the end of a night of intermittent sleep and relaxation. At the beginning of the practice I was starting to give in to negative thoughts. I found the section on breathing into my heart very helpful. I chose to breathe in peace. At the end of the meditation I felt a deep sense of peace. This enabled me to enter my day on a more calm and positive way. My intention for today is to keep this sense of peace and calm throughout the day and it's challenges. Thank you Ally.

This video is magic. I could not settle my mind or body down for anything earlier, I even tried two other videos and got agitated and turned them off.
It took me a bit to get in, but the me of half an hour ago and the me right now? Are very different people and I am so very grateful that I found this channel during a very hard time in my life - it is continuing to serve me well ❤️

Thankyou Ally, I've been in my head the last few weeks & haven't been doing my morning routine, The last 2 days of come back to my morning routine which includes prayer and meditation, the last 3 years, you have been my go to fav yoga nidra meditation, your voice is so calming, you have a gift❤ right now I feel so relaxed & grounded ❤ This is what I now know & appreciate more than words can say, I know that when I'm running a bit rough, I can always come here to this beautiful space & feel a bit more right sized for the day ahead, living life on life's terms can be hard sometimes & yoga nidra has this magical way of putting me in a better headspace.
