How To Do A Dumbbell Bent Over Row

The dumbbell bent over row is a staple back exercise which targets almost all of the muscles in the upper and middle back. Watch our Personal Trainer demonstrate how to do a dumbbell bent over row here.

1. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with neutral grip.
2. Standing with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent, lean forward at the hips until your torso is slightly above parallel.
3. Bracing your core, drive your elbows back making sure to squeeze your shoulder blades together. Your hands should reach to just before your hips.
4. Pause before lowering the dumbbells back to starting position.
5. Repeat.
