That laying on the side and lifting legs was a killer. Im just starting and was surprised to see what a work out this really was! Thank you for the video, it was really great and so was the narration.

I’m struggling with PCOS and regular workouts always worsened my symptoms. The cortisol spike always felt like a panic attack and gave me imbalanced blood sugar and it was hard to lose weight. I’ve been following your “gentle” pilates videos for about 2 weeks and I never felt this relaxed and at peace after a workout. The feeling of being connected to my core and my body gives me a high. I used to be an absolute athlete and after some years of bad dieting and a few injuries, I stopped being so active. I wanted to try Pilates for beginners thinking it would be a piece of cake but it was so challenging and made me realize how out of shape I am 😀 lol. When doing those arm exercises, you said, "You can do it", and I actually cried out, "No, I can't do it!" but I stuck with it, thanks to your words, Nicole. Love your stuff and thank you for getting me into pilates and enjoying movement! I can't wait to get on the mat to see what my body can do each day!

Phew! My first attempt at Pilates. The small, controlled movement along with controlled breath was intense! A great benchmark for myself and I will be returning for your other pilates videos! Thank you!

This video really helped me understand the foundations of pilates so much better and connect to my deep core/pelvic floor. The arm workout/shoulder portion is a posture game changer too. so perfect for beginners. I felt amazing afterwards. Def my new go-to pilates workout until I work up some strength and form for more intensity!
