I have tried a few different meditations but this one has helped me the most yet. I struggle with Anxiety and especially intrusive thoughts to a point where my head feels like exploding every day. I use this meditation every morning and it's so nice to be able to let go for a while and it has also helped me a little bit throughout the day. Of course it takes time but so far it has done a great job. His voice is also very pleasant to hear and has been reassuring throughout the whole meditation!

This meditation sits in my Library and gets used when my brain won't seem to shut up. I found it a few years ago and have kept it since. I appreciate the non-judgmental reminders and the personal-sounding support. It feels like I'm never as alone as I may feel. Thank you. I'm sure I'll be back soon <3

Thank you for sharing this and all the links you provided for more. I didn't know it was called "monkey mind" but I know I have one lol. Thinking all the time and usually about worst case possibilities is not healthy or productive. I appreciate the explanation of why we do this too. This video not only made me understand that I was not alone but also allowed me to turn my brain's nonsense off. Thank you so much is all I can say. I will be meditating everyday for the rest of my life.

I’ve had trouble meditating lately. Thing start running through my mind-all positive-but listening to this guided meditation was the first time in awhile I was able to focus on quietness. Thank you.

You helped me realize I’ve been doing more than I thought
I have been having uncontrolled thoughts in randomized-intervals an for a moment I really thought I was losing my grip... I’ve beaten P.D (panic disorder) without benzodiazepine or medication in general but this is a whole new monster ., it’s been scaring me, actually ~ but when I do meditate, an I _feel_ myself pushing thoughts out so I can find my center: I feel a lot better and in more control over my thoughts

You helped me realize that I *am* meditating; almost everything you said resonated with me an now I feel confident that I can keep practicing at “calming the monkey” 🧘‍♂️
