Coming up on hour 58 and so far feeling pretty good. In the past I had lower back pain by day 2 and difficultly sleeping, but none of that this time. Mood is good, energy is good, although I *am* sipping late morning weak coffee with pink salt and a cinnamon stick now. Not able to test blood sugar, but I have never had a strong response to morning cup of joe. I think the monthly timing is a major factor. This fast coincides nicely with my monthly cycle (as did last month's fast training week): post-period/pre-ovulation. This definitely seems like an easier time for fasts! I also made sure to eat nutritiously Sunday to front-load minerals going in: ample beef liver lightly cooked in butter, sardines, and eggs. That may have helped, too.

I did it! I never thought I could. It was quite terrible but I hope my health will benefit. Now time for broth. Hope everyone here reaches their goals - fighting!💪💪💪

Found this video just after Xmas, I was feeling horrible generally unwell, always felt discomfort after every meal, and needed to 'rest' or lay down even if it's a small meal. low energy, sleeping too much or not enough, excruciating period pains, mild depression with no desire to do anything. Always wake up swollen or achy. I knew if l went to the doctor I'd be on a lot of meds, I found this video not knowing anything about fasting and this made so much sense for me. On the 2nd of January did a 3 day Water fast, it was challenging but l did it. Thereafter cut out all sugars, refined carbs, vegetable oils and fast foods.
2 weeks later, I feel fantastic. Everything feels normal, I feel great in my body, most aliments have disappeared. Lost weight, can taste and enjoy real food. Sleep like clock work, wake up happy and energetic to a point that l don't need coffee. Used to think l was not a morning person 😂 I was just unwell, withdrawing from sugar and everything inflamed.

If there is anyone out there in doubt, this works.

Sipping Raspberry LMNT right now. 6 more hours to go to reach 72 hour fast. Started with some acv reverse osmosis water this morning, later one cup of black coffee. Planning on having green tea later in the day. Every evening eating Redmond’s real salt and green tea. Currently feeling hunger pangs. First 48 hours easy peasy. Hoping to heal my adrenals and thyroid. One of my favorite drinks is Acv lemonade. 2 tbs. acv, half a squeezed lemon, Himalayan salt or Redmond’s Real salt, a squeeze of organic stevia, and a pinch of cream of tarter. Sip on this and it helps get through fasting.

I am currently fasting for 36 hours, going for 72hrs even had to vomit when I reached 34hours. Clearly, there’s a lot happening in my body. But with your videos, Dr. Mindy, I stay motivated and I’m sticking with it.

On my 3rd day and I feel like I could go to 5. I've not slept better in over a year. I would wake up every night at 2am or 3am. I also noticed no hot flashes during the night for the past two nights. Could be the hot flashes were interupting my sleep, among other things. I feel great! First time doing 3 day water fast. Will incorporate this 2xs a year.

I started a day early after viewing the first video. I'm s nurse and I wrk nights
On night 2.5 i started feeling sluggish. I ckd my numbers and my BG was 61 and ketones 3.9. I thought I could push thru. But had to take 2 quick sips of Kombucha from my hospital's cafe @ 330am. I started feeling better and I rechecked in an hr and my BG was 82 and Ketones 3.5. And I felt s lot better
Broke my fast with the 4 step process yesterday and I felt energized at wrk last night. I might do this every month. I'll see how I feel intuitively. I'm fasting for the physical and spiritual benefits.🤩🤩

I’m at 62 hours! I’m not going to eat at midnight so I’ll break my fast tomorrow morning making it closer to a 82-85 hr fast! FYI: LMNT Watermelon Salt 😋😋

After 48hours my glucose was 42...so that was the end of my fasting. I ate and then fast 16hours and glucose 71. I will try again next month

💚🏜️ I like making my own electrolyte water. 1 tsp sodium bicarbonate, 1 tsp magnesium sulfate, 1 tsp potassium chloride, and 1 tsp sodium chloride in 2 liters of RO water, then throughout the day I dilute it 50/50 with fresh water. Regular water is so boring now, I prefer this salty, unflavored water 😋
