5 Tips:
1. Move breakfast back and hour
2. Keep moving breakfast back until you are comfortable going fifteen hours
3. Make intermittent fasting (thirteen to fifteen hours without food) a normal daily routine
4. One day a week, do a dinner-to-dinner fast
5. Once you have mastered the above steps, you are ready to start experimenting with the other fasts.

Did a 3 day water fast last year and felt great at the end. Doing a 5 day this time. On day 4 of 5. Feeling good. You can do it!!!

I’m new to water fasting. Last Wednesday I tried and made 19 hours then I ate in the 4 hour period. The next day I ate meals then 6pm I fasted for 48 hours. I ate over the 12 hours and I’m now at 50 hours, nearly ate but am holding on and hopefully won’t let myself down.

the problem isnt food. its the Thought/Love/Missing food. i can knock 24 hours every day, i can do 48hours with minimal effort, but after 3 its not that im Hungry its just the Love of it. and everyday after 3 you have to fight.

Hey 😃 I started my 3 day water fast yesterday - 30/6/2020, at 2.30pm. I'm past 24hrs now, on the 2nd at 2.30pm I'll be 48hrs, and on the 3rd at 2.30pm I'll be at 72hrs. So far, I feel ok.. I'm not hungry and I don't have a headache or anything.. I just feel good! And I cooked a fully loaded chicken and veg pie, with dumplings, and mashed potatoes for the family, and it didn't phase me one bit. I love that! I actually think I might be able to do this!

Hunger and discomfort are temporary and cyclical. Push through and 72 hours will go by and you will have success.

Love the 5 minute format! I used to fast a lot and then just kinda lost my way, so need to build up to the dinner-dinner fast again and maybe attempt a 3 day later x

Thanks Dr. Mindy, I’ve gotten good at incorporating intermittent fasting daily 15 to 18 every day with one 36 hr fast per week. I think im ready to try a 48 hr next.

I like this message. Progression and preparation. Re progression, I did the reverse. Brought dinner one hour earlier, to the point where I can fast for 20 hours after 10am without too much stress.

Recently, tried a 24 hr water fast trying to detox from excessive coffee and soda .. all together caffeine consumption.. I had a really bad headache, sinus, and lethargy ..however, I felt my cravings for sugar and caffeine decrease ... I think am going to try fasting more often now ... I like to hear more from you :)

Thanks for the valuable information. I will be completing my 72 hrs fast at 6:30 pm today. It was good but I felt very weak day 2 and 3. I was not able to do my morning walk while fasting. I lost some weight too. I will do one 3 day fast at the end of each month.

Great job! Short, simple and to the point. Easy, peasy! I’m comfortable with 24 hour fasts. Next goal is 36 hours. It’s kind of of frightening, though. One whole waking day of no food. 😕 I’m trying to plan it on a day that I’ll be busy and not easily tempted. 🙏
