Day 2 is always the hardest. Day 3 and on are easier. My longest was 7. Its crazy how much better you feel. Just go easy on your first meal.

After fasting guys just avoid sugar completely. Avoid carbohydrates and if you must eat carbohydrates, just make sure you eat the complex carbs. Make proteins and vegetables your main meals. Also work out to avoid regaining your lost weight and for leaner body.

Fasting occasionally is great for health. However I would personally just rest during a fast, because running/exercise will 'force' the body to breakdown muscle proteins to create glucose. Gentle walks OK, and usual exercise on day one (using stored glycogen) also OK, in my humble opinion!

It's not the "toxins released from the body" giving you body aches lol but rather all the basic electrolytes missing from your system especially muscles ... Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium AND yes Sodium (sea slat) are a must if you're planning on exercising during your fasting period...

Doctors have said not to do workouts while on longer fasts. Only stroll / walk. Please be safe.

Great! Keep going… you can do it. I went 30 days a couple of years ago. Was trying to do the “Jesus” diet (40 days/nights) but didn’t quite make it.

I just finished a 5-day water fast. I do it once every season. What I really noticed this time is how bright the colors are! I've noticed that before too, but now my body is much cleaner inside, I guess, since I've been doing extended fasts regularly the past few years. I was in the city center in the evening/night time, and noticed that the colors on the traffic lights and the tail lights on the cars were so freaking bright! Almost as bright as when I've done psychedelic mushrooms. And my skin is really clearing up. I love fasting!

Finished a 3 day fast on Friday…first 24 hours was fine second day low energy third day wasn’t as hungry as the second day and had higher energy…and increased mental focus..had some muscle pains especially in my biceps (still sore)feels as tho your body is eating it’s own fat but also the muscle.great way to cleanse your body and mind.great for discipline and mental test

I do a 6-7 day fast and eat for 2 days. And go back on it again. I'm trying to live without needing to eat solid food. And get my nutrients through liquads. Have ibs hydro fasting is better for me. And my body. No more pain

Shouldn’t run during fasting unless you are in zone 2 so you don’t burn muscle. You also need Some type of sea salt to help with the cramps.
