Don't worry if you're not flexible or can't do the poses perfectly. The motto of Fightmaster Yoga is "It's not about the pose". You don't have to be perfect.

Love that each day builds a little on what went before... still hate downward dog though, and so many of them in the last couple of days!!! It's the rush of blood to my head I think, and no respite from it in forward fold either

the breath cues are great on this one! matching my breathing to the poses is one part of yoga that is always a struggle for me and the constant cues were so helpful.

If it helps anyone out there doing yoga alone and if one has the equipment, I use my tv connected to the internet to follow your class and then I take my ipad and record myself and then I can review the recording to see if I'm doing anything wrong. I realized that my plank wasn't much of a plank and that my downward dog was kind of bent lol :)

PS Good timing for the dog to pass by while in upward dog lol :D :D

Thank you for this 30 day challenge! I'm really enjoying the flow and progression of these videos...there is something new to learn and build off of each day! I'm really enjoying it so far; it's great stress relief and I can feel my skills improving already. I look forward to the next 22 days!

I'm a 65 yr old male... we retired 5 yrs ago and have always been active but because of Covid and not working, I've become rather lazy..lol. My daughters suggested yoga and after going through many vids on youtube I was lucky enough to find you. I love your calm and patience, and look forward to our class everyday. Hi Lesley! Very fun to try yoga. I like being able to try it alone in my home and set the bar according to my own strength/flexibility without feeling mal placé and uncomfortable. I've just finished a 6k run in an exhausting pulse, and it feels so good finishing of with some yoga. I've been stiff as a refrigerator my whole life, but I can finally feel some result and how the poses now feel lighter and easier. I started this journey a few days ago, and while I was running today in the morning, I felt a backache and I just couldn't continue running any more. I thought if I'd make the breathing exercises that I have learned from you, maybe it would help. And it did! I made the standing breathing exercises and suddenly my backache was gone!! You're like a mother on this journey to me, and I can't thank enough to you for this. Namaste!

I have been practising your videos for years and practised the 90 day challenge several times now. but not the last year having had severe pelvic girdle pain through pregnancy and still suffering somewhat at 6 months. postpartum. You recently pointed me in the direction of your yoga for sciatica video and I practised it a couple of times, just going through the motions of being back on my mat and hearing your voice has been really good. So I've set myself the challenge to complete the 30 day beginner challenge to try and get myself back into the yoga habit and hopefully start to get my body functioning normally again. Hopefully one day in the not too distant future I can get back to my usual fitness and join you on my yoga pal!
Thanks for creating fantastic videos for every level. I'll keep checking in and doing a little yoga every day! Xx
