In this short video, I’m going to show you how to get rid of hip pain. You can do this technique on yourself, or you can have someone help you. This is a simple technique that you can do right at home to help get rid of hip pain fast.

A few important points to keep in mind:
• Do not press on the side that hurts. Work on the opposite side from where you’re feeling pain.

• The way you know you’ve found the right spot is if it feels tender or sore. Apply light pressure and massage.

If this technique doesn’t work for you, you may be experiencing referred pain. For example, if you’re a female, a cyst on the ovary can cause hip pain. In this case, sea kelp may be a fantastic natural option to try.

This has work like a miracle to me!! I hurt my hip while doing squats and for 2 days i was in much pain on my right hip. I've just did this and i can't believe the pain is gone!! Few minutes of massage and i can walk normal!! A million thanks Dr Eric Berg!!

I didn't do the techniques Dr. Berg mentioned, but he is correct to work on the opposite side of where the pain is. I injured my right glute and after stretching the left side, my pain almost instantly disappeared. Thank you Dr. Berg!!

I fell off my skateboard and landed on my left hip, but I tore my right hip muscle. Everybody thinks it's weird, now it's making sense to me. Thank you doc, I will try this!

Tried this right after watching this morn. WOW! it is 10 pm & my left hip feels wonderful. I was doing the side w/doing the pain. Today I got around so much better & was even able 2 get up & down in a chair w/o a lot of pain. I will keep this up. I use a tennis ball & a foam roller 4 30 min.

Amazing! thank you. My hip did get some relief from working on opposite side. when I sleep I have to sleep on my side. Now, the question is Do I sleep on painful side or opposite side ? when I wake up my pain is terrible. Thanks, Pete.

Dr. Berg,   you are such a wealth of information!  My left hip, which was replaced and then revised in 2010, has been bothering me for three days.  I have followed your example and hope to soon report positive results.  Thanks for so much wonderful and respectfully given information!

I am a dancer and I stretch for splits and different positions however when I bend down like in a plank with my legs together and straight I get a striking pain like up tbroifjy hip mostly at the back it feels like a trapped nerve, what is it and how can I fix it so I can still dance?

Just started trying this last night. Conventional exercises have not helped me, but today I felt a definite improvement. Walking quicker with less pain after only one day seems very encouraging. I will continue with this routine and hope that this is not a false dawn. It has sure given me a boost just when I needed it.
