Hey guys, after reading a lot of comments, there are a couple of things I would like to address here:

1. What is hip hip? A natural indent at the area where the hips meet the thighs. This is genetics and part of your bone structure so it’s impossible to get rid of them. It could be more visible on someone than others again because of how their bones and muscles were built.

2. Why some people ( including me) are insecure about their hip dip? A lot of people actually find hip dips attractive but some of us compare ourselves to the celebrities or people showing up on social media with a “ perfect body” ( hour glass, fuller hip). It’s either how their bodies naturally were shaped, plastic surgery or they are really good at hiding it. As a fashion influencer, I do this sometimes too. I do have slight hip dips but pose to hide them because I was insecure.

3. How to get over this insecurity? It can be hard to change your opinion about something but you can switch your focus and learn to accept. This has made me feel much happier 🥰🥰. You can still love yourself and appreciate your body while learning to embrace it. What helped me was switching my mindset to just being grateful for having a healthy body, and realizing looks aren’t the only thing that defines me
Self love and acceptance is a long process, it takes time but so rewarding at the end!❤️

THERES A BONE, THERES A BONE THERE AND IF THE SKIN SITS ON THE BONE THERES GONNA BE A DIP. YOU CANT GET RID OF IT. Learning to love yourself as is is so much more important than trying to change something completely natural! You are all beautiful and gorgeous just the way you are.

This is what all beauty influencers should be like ♡ being beautiful and helping everyone else to feel beautiful

Edit: Replies were all saying that its not the responsibility of influencers to help others feel beautiful and that it is everyone's own, and I agree that it is nobody's job to help you feel good about yourself. What I meant is that beauty influencers using their content to spread positive messages and to show that they are flawed like everyone else is helpful to people that struggle with their own perception of beauty. Everyone is beautiful, and a lot of you seem really insecure so I must've triggered some insecurities. Muted the comments so I dont keep getting the same replies over and over when its not that deep.

That made me feel really “good” about myself. For what it’s worth, thank you. I hate my hip dips because they’re so noticeable.

As an artist, hip dips were literally my favorite part to draw when I used to go to life drawing and sketch real people. Hip dips just add another curve to your body and make it look so elegant ✨✨✨

It's crazy how different poses can change the shape of your body.

Ok so people are telling me how she barely has them, thats not the point of my comment, im talking about in general, not just this, but i could stand one way and look like i have no boobs at all but then i could stand in a different position and yall can tell i have them.
There are so many more things my comment could represent other than hip dips, just think about it for a minute before trying to convince me im wrong,

Other than that, have a good day 😊 ❤❤

I had a personal trainer as a roommate and I used to be so insecure about my hip dips and she said there is no way to get rid of it outside of surgery so I just learned to love them

The hip is going to dip.
It’s in the bone.
And it’s beautiful.
You’re beautiful.
Even when you do think you are ugly I just want you to know you’re beautiful.
Stop comparing yourself to people.

Aphrodite had hip dips, belly rolls and curly hair, she was the goddess of beauty🩷

Hip dips are great. They emphasize pelvic shape, they help clothes drape nicely, and *they’re part of your body’s natural shape.* we’re not cartoons.

I like that someone called them "violin hips". It's a cute name, and also meaningful. Violins are instruments that are works of art in themselves, and also do something amazing by making music in the hands of someone dedicated. Our bodies are also amazing, in that we can do so many things with them. Being insecure about the shape they take, instead of being grateful for their function, is something we could all work on.

I have hip dips. I’ve always appreciated the shape of my hips and had no idea it had a specific name. I also was absolutely clueless that it was a recognized insecurity until I saw a “hip dips and other insecurities” video on the internet. Thankfully, I was 19 then and already had enough confidence and love towards myself to just laugh at that and absolutely refuse to start viewing it as a flaw, because why would I? They’re your legs and they’re creating a cool curious silhouette as a bonus so love them for it

My fiancé loves my hip dips. However I was insecure. After met him I realised what I hated about myself he loves so much. So now I can say I'm confident in my body and loves every single part of my body. All I had to do is met the perfect person who can accept me. That's my fiancé 😊😊
