Feeling proud. I've been doing stretches regularly now and yes, can bring my whole chest down and touch the floor with my forehead.

Can even do the split on both sides!

As a dancer, I didn’t even realize that I had made my hips more flexible over time. We use this ‘exercise’ as a little stretch before starting splits

Alot of these stretches and alternative cardio/workouts we do in our jiu jitsu classes. One of the things I really believe is missing in the bodybuilding/weightlifting community is an appreciation for cardio and strength in full ranges but also uncommon movements. I'm glad you are out here showing people another side of exercise and physical health that they aren't considering in the gym.

Strength Side as a 22 year old who had back surgery and is a bit overweight. Since my back injury 4 years ago i've gone through so much and honestly your stuff is actually helping. Thank you so much I hope to eventually feel young again.

I begin my stretches in bed before I even open my eyes each morning. Its relaxing, the dark allows for me to focus on my body, kind of a meditation. I usually get in about twenty minutes and have found that I am stiff if I do not take this time.

I'm on my sisters account but I gotta let u know that the video with the shoulder posture when your sat down all day really helps. I used to crack my neck a lot which now sometimes causes migraines from the aching pains in my neck/shoulder. I tried your technique and have to admit whe ever I do it, it gets rid of all the pain and aches for a while.

In other words, a tutorial on how Westerners can finally do the Asian squat. (Not meant to be offensive but every Western backpacker that I have met seems to always talk about how they can't do the Asian squat. Nice tutorial for stretching!)

Edit: Adding this since my comment is causing confusion.

It's the foreigners who call it "Asian squat". I don't know if we have a term for it in my local language. Not sure about the other languages here. Also not sure what it's called in other Asian countries. For sure though, the foreigners and travellers call it "Asian squat". That's why I get curious because they really talk about it. I don't understand why it seems like a big deal, then they demonstrate it.

I think it's because most are not really used to this kind of position whereas in Asia and other countries, it's normal. Although yeah, it is informal way of seating. Some might consider it unsightly. Very useful for temporary seats though. Your endurance to do it also builds up overtime.

I don't know why this came up in my feed but I sure do need it. The internet is reading minds now? Anyway, going to do this move when I get home from work. Thank you

It's funny how your body knows what to do naturally. I've never seen this stretch until this year but I've been doing this at home without being told that it was an actual stretch
