So so very true! After he snapped at me, I asked him why he is talking to me like that. His response was mind blowing!! He said “ because there are things going on that you don’t know about “.
So if I don’t even know about a situation why am I your welcome mat?

Me just existing he always had an attitude. Whenever I was in a good mood he would ruin it. If I was quiet or had an attitude from what he did or said to me it was a problem no matter what. I never want to see or talk to him again. He’s a draining person to be around.

This is so wild! I absolutely believe my mother was a narcissist (she passed 13 years ago before much was public about NPD). I said all through my teens and adult years that I had always been her emotional punching bag. Hearing you say that was such a HUGE validation for me. Thank you!
