They always make you feel like you’re not good enough, or that other people are better than you. They project their own insecurities on to you, rather than working on themselves. If you’re reading this I just want you to know that you are enough. Narcissists are just impossible to satisfy. But that’s their problem and they will never get to appreciate life in the way that we do. So take a moment today to appreciate yourself and to appreciate life. Something that a narcissist will never get to experience.

I was in a relationship with a narcissist for 6 years. There was a lot of love bombing, future faking, gaslighting, contempt and then finally the discard. It was like slow death from inhaling carbon monoxide. You can’t see it, smell it or taste it in the beginning, but you know something is very wrong. I was always apologizing just to keep the peace, which had me feeling like I wasn’t enough...The best thing that ever happened was being abandoned after there was no more narcissistic supply for me to give. I noticed the deeply insecure narcs specifically Target people that they know already feel like they are not enough so that they can feel Superior and more confident. Because people with low self-esteem are usually too "weak" to fight back or notice that they're being abused. Or they just allow it because they feel like they deserve it
