It’s amazing how much your happiness wrecks narcissists. They will target your happiness and dedicate their life to destroying it. My ex would always tell me “you are always so positive and always smiling” and then spent the next few years trying to rob me of those exact qualities till I felt I had nothing to be positive about.

I was indifferent about my ex-husband. He emailed me a couple of weeks ago saying he wants to reconcile and to meet up with me. Unfortunately, I answered, but thankfully, I didn’t meet up with him. I rewatched your video about reconciliation, and you said explicitly: never do so in the case of physical abuse.
