Full Body DUMBBELL WORKOUT at Home | Quick and Effective

Hello everyone!

This is a follow along dumbbell only full body workout that you can do at home! It hits your legs, posterior chain, chest, arms and core.

It is only 1 round of 10 exercises lasting 40 seconds each and 20 seconds rest. I have put this workout to a timer just to keep check on rest periods and to keep your heart rate up that little bit more throughout. Definitely a great workout to be done twice over if you have 20 minutes as your intention!

The exercises are as follows:

High squat
Alternating lunges
Romanian deadlift
Squat to press
Shoulder press (single arm alternating to endure same number reps both sides)
Bent over row
Chest press
Tricep press
Russian twists (1 dumbbell only)
Plank lift unders (1 dumbbell only)

So if you have a pair of dumbbells at home whether it be 5kgs or higher give it a go!

I just want to say that this is one of Caroline's first workouts and it is still absolute fire. It is also a great workout to use as a base. For example today I did it 3 times through: first time as prescribed (except I did bodyweight Russian twists - still not too comfortable with weighted ab exercises at 7 months postpartum), second time I amped up or changed variation - reverse lunges instead of forward lunges, 1 1/2 rep Romanians, supine rows, plank twists, third round I did HIIT style using lighter weights or bodyweight - squat jumps, alternating lunge to skip, 1/2 rep Romanians, alternating snatches, renegade rows, push ups, triceps dips, cross body mountain climbers. I am drenched and every part of my body has been worked.

I just want to take time to thank you, you’ve help me through this whole COVID-19 stay at home order here in California our gyms are closed. I tried so many other workouts on YouTube and none of them motivated me all of them were kind of boring or too easy I’m 63 years old but I’ve been working out since I was in my 20s so I feel like I’m in pretty good shape for my age and your workouts are perfect some of them like the squats all the way to the floor are a bit difficult but I just do what my body can still do. You are amazing thank you so much!

Just found this. Usually guys like having a guy doing a follow along workout but that’s an old fashioned way of thinking and this one is legit! I’m using this for my quick workouts.

I love it! This is my go-to work out when I don't have the time for a longer session. I exercise in the morning. Instead of dropping working out due to lack of time, I do it once or twice, or once and try to fit in another round later that day.😊
