How to lose 15lbs in a very short period of time.

For Diet, you will need to eat well below maintenance.

For activity, you will need to move much more, thus creating an extreme energy deficit in your body.

The real issue with this approach. Weather it's the Military Diet, The Egg Diet or perhaps fasting is that you can severely negatively impact things like metabolism and muscle and end up in a position where you have lost a lot of weight, but end up gaining it all back and more.

Losing 15lbs of body fat is much different then losing 15lbs of weight. Our bodies are mostly water so you can easily lost stored water from the body and the scale will move, but what have you actually done?

How to lose 15lbs in 2 weeks, 14 days, there are even videos explaining how to lose 15lbs in 1 weeks.

This is my approach to losing weight, and how you can ensure your hard work is rewarded.

Struggling right now with my body self-perception
and my weight. Currently around 210lbs with significant muscle but still have fat to lose. I have lost the fat before but also muscle mass. Trying to strike a balance of getting my body to a lean place with a healthy metabolism. Thanks for the info!

Alright, you've called me out on wanting to see the scale go down before I get serious about resistance training lol Note taken 👌🏾

This is why people get so excited over Keto, and I am always telling them not to get too happy, because a lot of that is just water!

Can confirm a water cut with a same day weigh in didn’t go well for my powerlifting performance. 😂

I started intermittent fasting and keto 2 years ago, and lost 25 lb in the first 3 weeks…but I had to get up 5x/night to pee to do it. One of the pluses to the IF/keto combo is that it’s very anti-inflammatory, so you shed a lot of water. 2 years in, I’m down 130lb, reversed type 2 diabetes, off all BP meds, and have stellar blood work. That being said, YMMV.

Losing weight slowly is much healthier. People are in a rush to get results, have patience with it.

Great vid! I believe weight training is such an easy way to manage and maintain weight loss. Plus you get to add more daily calories.

The question should be how long do you want to keep the weight off rather than how quickly do you want to lose it

I hear you on this and my biggest issue is trying to find myself in trusting that if I eat around what the tdee calculators suggest as a maintenance (which are just a round about number I know) but I want to eat below that to try and get leaner. Instead of trusting that I can get leaner on more food with resistance training too I want to eat less and stick with the workouts plus cardio. This is where I need help in deciding

The scale has been my enemy lately. I’ve gotten stronger but I don’t like my weight on the scale. I’m so scared of being “too big” as I used to be obese. Went from 300 to 177 and now currently around 185 at 5ft 9

Most I ever lost in a week was 8Kg, of which 3.5kg was water weight, so around 10lbs of fat in a week. That took 3h a day of grueling training split into 2 sessions 6x a week, the blandest diet immaginable and, at the time, ephedrine/caffeine tablets that are now illegal (and for good reason). I was 19 back then, and by day 9 of this lunacy I had heart palpitations, transient hypertension and flash sweats and had to quit.

Thats was the effect on a healthy 19yo male, mind you. If you try this in your mid 30's or 40's and have any undiagnosed condition you might very well stroke or go into cardiac arrest. Honestly not worth it to avoid a month's worth of moderate effort and and very tolerable diet.

I watched a video that said you can just water fast and eat nothing for several weeks and you'll retain muscle, lose fat, boost metabolism and growth hormone.
