This is a seated core strength workout for seniors and beginners who want to get stronger abs while seated in a chair. Today we are going through 11 exercises for a short, effective workout to build a stronger core. Go at your own pace and take breaks as needed.

I relish core workouts: I've kept mine fit for most of my life. Still, this routine offered variety--some of them new to me--making this routine very interesting. I began those moves I was familiar with immediately and extended most of them, and didn't permit my back to touch the back of the chair. I'm now relishing that wonderful core relaxation wash over me. Soon I'll be doing your seated workouts, playlist #33. Smiles...Anastasia

Hello Jules:
Today I really did this sitting. Some movements are still challenging but I adjusted them so I didn't feel pain.
One day at a time. It looks like you are back to "normal". Good to see.

Jules, decided to do this seated core strength workout, it was perfect and short enough for the afternoon. Finished up all my spring cleaning, reading the reply gave me on this mornings workout, you live in Ottawa, Canada, I bet it is beautiful, I have seen pictures of it. We tried this one for the first time tonight; it was a really great an workout and also back; my lower back is rather weak, so I was glad to work on that, too.

This felt great, and was much needed by me! Keeping core/back workouts to shorter lengths makes me less likely to follow through the whole video. Thanks again, Jules.

Thank you very much for this great training. All the ones you suggest are useful and valuable, but I personally prefer the shorter ones around 15 to 20 minutes.💛

Hi Jules, just finished this workout and loved it! I had previously had difficult doing ab exercises on floor due to shoulder problems but these exercises help me get a stronger core without putting pressure on my shoulders. Thank you for providing us with so many options to help us seniors stay healthy, active, and flexible. :)
