Seated Core Exercises for Seniors & Beginners | Level 3

This short 7 minute seated core workout is created for anyone wanting to strengthen the core from a seated position. This is level 2 (there is a link to level 1 below). These core exercises are designed for seniors and beginners who want to build a stronger core with exercises done at a safe and slow pace. You can do these exercises daily to work towards a stronger core. Once you feel you have mastered these, you can do 2-3 sets or move up to level 3 (which will be out next week).

Hi Jules - enjoyed this one. I did all 3 levels in succession. Woohoo! I'm doing so much better after my abdominal hernia surgery! Just a teeny bit sore after that. Might just be muscles getting stronger! 😁

I have to agree with so many of the comments - short workouts are great and whoever said shorter workouts are not effective didn’t know what they were talking about lol. I did this one twice just like level 2. Keep them coming Jules.

I did this workout as the last part of my routine today. I find it much more difficult to flex the abs from a seated position than from the floor.

The last exercise "lifting the feet" is brilliant and so difficult at the same time. One more exercise I can subtly integrate into my office workout. ;)

We did this one for the first time this evening….we did two rounds.

Great challenging routine, but Ack! I did this out of sequence. I'll catch up next week with 1&2. For some reason, the chair core exercises are all harder than the standing ones.

oh that's a tough one/ Trying to work on my hip flexors as well as it still hurts to lift my leg. Ive always had issues with my hips and pelvic area. Can really feel my core after these exercises.
