Seated Core Exercises for Seniors & Beginners | Level 2

This short 6 minute seated core workout is created for anyone wanting to strengthen the core from a seated position. This is level 2 (there is a link to level 1 below). These core exercises are designed for seniors and beginners who want to build a stronger core with exercises done at a safe and slow pace. You can do these exercises daily to work towards a stronger core. Once you feel you have mastered these, you can do 2-3 sets or move up to level 3 (which will be out next week).

My husband and I do both levels of core exercises on alternate days. He is 74 and I am 69. Looking forward to level 3 and 4! We are very grateful for your efforts in putting together these wonderful sessions.

Short while extremely effective. Your coaching to put hands on abs while working them is the best for focus. As always, appreciate when you let us know how frequently these workouts can be done.

Another great workout for the abs. Did it twice as I had more time this morning. Thank you Jules for making these available to those of us who have mobility challenges and to us who want to maintain our health as we age so gracefully lol. I am 84 and want to maintain my independence which I’m sure we all want to do.

Thanks for this Jules. It is a great addition to the standing ab work I get in my aerobic exercises. I have been doing it twice as it only takes 12 minutes. At the end of the session I can feel that I have worked my abs. Looking forward to seeing Level 3.

This was so good! For all I've been doing your workouts for the last 2 years nearly my tummy muscles are so weak. I often find ab exercise hurt my lower back but these didn't. My days of having a flat tummy are long gone but I know a strong core is key to a strong back. Thanks Jules.

Day 105 part 3! ✅️😊
Who could believe that lifting both feet off the floor from a seated position could be such a challenge! 😮
Mind you, I've hand washed a van and a car today, did some gardening and reached 11, 000 happy fun steps by having a dance while cooking our evening meal! And all before 6.30pm!
My newfound energy is all thanks to you Jules. 🤩

Wonderful workout! I was ill a few months ago, and this is the kind of workout I would have loved to do coming out of recovery. Very helpful for re-building confidence.

Hi Jules: another amazing workout. I like the seating one and and standing one. I like that you explain what to do and what the benefits are. You are absolutely amazing at what you do. I started with level 2 and will move on to level 3 next. My core is the weakest area, so I really appreciate these exercises.

Has a heart attack a week ago. And limited at moment as to what I can do. Thanks so much. It wasn't long but made me feel as if I accomplished something. Had just finished rehab for foot and did some of your longer ones. They are helpful to keep me motivated. Thanks again 😊
