⇒ Method in detail
• Once you have your daily maintenance calorie amount from the calculator, subtract 200 calories from it to put yourself in a slight caloric deficit.
• Next you need to weigh/measure or track ALL of your food/calories during the day to stay within this calorie amount. (MyFitnessPal) is a great app to use. Try to be as exact as possible and not "eyeball" your food portions.
• From here you can monitor your weight and if it’s not slightly dropping each week, subtract an additional 200 calories from your daily total allowance. On the flip side, if you’re losing too much (say 2 lbs or more each week) try adding 200 calories and continue to monitor and adjust accordingly. A healthy weight loss amount should be in the range of ½ to 1 lbs. per week.

I lost 22lbs in 6 months and all I did is cutting on sugar along with not eating 2-3h before sleep and keeping myself hydrated. I went from US 8 to US 4.

Not sure if this counts as snack, but I just blended some frozen mango, half an avocado and a tiny spoonful of protein powder with almond milk, it tastes incredible!!

I have a sit down job and I lost 25+ lbs. without lifting a leg. I simply ate healthy (low carb/low fat) with limited dairy. Yes, I want to see what you ate in a week. This was a great helpful video. TFS!

One of my favorite snacks is a cut up cucumber and I squeeze a lime over it, add a hint of salt and chili power. It's delicious! It's a Mexican snack my mom did for me as a kid. It's so refreshing and takes minutes to prepare! 😊

My favorite healthy snack is sliced cucumber dipped in spicy salsa - I have this in place of chips and salsa and I feel just as satisfied without the extra calories!

Thank you so much for making this video, Brittany. I am facing the challenge of losing a significant amount of weight whilst being a wheelchair user outside of the home and having very limited mobility using a frame at home. I became disabled just over a year ago and have controlled my weight (up-to this point) by calorie counting. I am concerned about how successful I will be at consistently losing weight whilst not being able to be very active. Your advice is excellent and has given me a much-needed boost of confidence.
